Title: Shine Bright Rocky
Description: I decided to use my friend's dog Rocky for my drawing, he is such a lovely dog with a bright personality. I used oil-based colouring pencils for this piece, and I tried to use all the bright colouring pencils I had as an extra personal challenge. I went for the bold choice of doing it on black paper as I felt that it would make the colours stand out more, especially his eyes. I feel like nothing is bolder than challenging yourself. Therefore, I decided to go for a completely different art style to what I am used too, and I usually don't share my art as I can be quite shy about it, but I really wanted to give it a try this year. In the end, I was pretty happy with how it turned out and I feel that I followed the bright and bold theme really well.
